Frequently Asked Questions
I forgot my PIN code.
For security reasons, your PIN is stored securely using Apple's Keychain and cannot be reset remotely. To clear the PIN (and unfortunately all other app data, including meal history and custom tokens), you will need to delete and reinstall the app.
Note: Deleting the app will remove all local data permanently unless you have a recent iCloud Backup of your device.
Is my data backed up?
Mindful Menu includes your data (meal plans, tokens, settings) in your standard iPhone/iPad iCloud Backup, if iCloud Backup is enabled on your device. If you restore your device from an iCloud Backup or set up a new device from one, your meal history and settings should be restored automatically. We recommend regularly checking that iCloud Backup is turned on (Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → iCloud Backup).
What if the app crashes or my data seems lost?
First, try force-quitting the app and restarting your device. If the issue persists, ensure you have a recent iCloud Backup and consider restoring from it. Data corruption is rare since everything is stored locally, but if problems continue, please email us with your device model, iOS version, and a description of what happened.
How do I get app updates?
App updates, including bug fixes and new features, are delivered through the App Store. Open the App Store app, go to your profile, and check for updates.
