School Edition starts with third-grade Math, English, Science, and Social Studies. Courses include Number Quest, Times Tables, Fractions, Word Wizards, Science Explorers, and Community Quest.

Yes. Switch or add a learner from the learner control or You → Settings. Each learner has their own introduction, course progress, XP, streak, hearts, and review schedule. Profiles on a shared device are not password-protected accounts.

Today offers a recommended next lesson and practice. Explore lets you search courses by subject and follow each course’s learning path. You holds your progress, Power-Up history, and settings.

Use Ask Otto during a question to get a clue or reread the lesson. Help costs no hearts, XP, or stars. One missing heart refills every 30 minutes, and finishing a review restores one missing heart. For unlimited hearts, turn on Relaxed Mode in You → Settings.

Comets are Power-Ups: optional extra practice on the Explore path. Tap one and confirm to begin. You → Power-Ups tracks finished attempts, including repeats. Review, lesson practice, and Power-Ups keep hearts safe and earn half XP.

Stars reflect first-try answers. Green flags mark lessons completed with one or two stars; gold flags mean three. Where a course has a Master Quest, earn three stars in its earlier lessons to unlock it. Three stars in every course lesson, including Master Quest, earns a medal and starts a fresh mastery round. The number on the medal counts completed masteries. Your medals, XP, and lifetime practice history stay with you.

Yes. Lessons and practice work without an internet connection or a separate LearnThis! account. When iCloud sync is available, learner profiles and progress sync between devices signed into the same Apple ID. Internet access is needed for sync, not for working through bundled lessons.

Check that both devices use the same Apple ID, the same learner, and the same edition. Open You → Settings to check the iCloud Sync status, connect to the internet, and allow time for changes to arrive. Keep the app installed while troubleshooting so your local progress remains available.

Open You → Settings. The reset action clears the selected learner’s progress after confirmation. To remove a learner, swipe their row, choose Remove, and confirm. Keep at least one learner profile. These actions remove progress and cannot be undone in the app.
